Responsibilities:
  • Provide an outstanding Customer Experience to Salem Five customers and prospects
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency with Salem Five’s digital technology offering
  • Proficient with mobile smart phones and downloading applications. This includes the basics of texting, email and application management
  • Proficient utilizing desktop applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Exchange)
  • Proficient utilizing the Internet (mobile and desktop) to search and locate information
  • Embrace new and emerging technologies to support operations and customers through flexibility and the ability to learn and adapt to change
  • Communicates professionally and effectively with customers on a regular basis through phone, written correspondence, Chat, and e-mail to respond to inquiries and resolve issues within company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Responds effectively and resolves escalated applicant calls by providing applicants with information and assistance; resolving a variety of questions and/or complaints within the framework of the Complaint Procedures Program.
  • Performs the Department Teller Function daily and is responsible for processing all deposits, transfers, withdrawals, loan payments and close out requests within the Bank’s guidelines. Reviews transaction items for accuracy and places appropriate holds or returns items when necessary. Works directly with the Service and Chat Teams to contact customer’s when additional information is needed to process these transactions.
  • Responsible for all email correspondence from the accountopening@salemfive.com & fraud@salemfive.com inboxes.
  • Continuously recommends improvements in risk controls, procedures, and practices to minimize loss. Balances risk management policies with positive customer experience.
  • Continuously recommends improvements to the online application process and systems.
  • Performs all new account opening outbound calls.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested including projects, customer servicing, or sales when necessary.
  • Regular attendance is essential to this position.
